How many offers can you send at once?

There is no strict limit on the number of offers you can send, but keep these factors in mind:

• A supervisor can oversee up to 3 interns at once, meaning they can extend up to three simultaneous offers.
  • Note 1: Offers still under review or awaiting intern acceptance count toward the limit.
    • Example: If a supervisor sends three offers and two are accepted, the third—whether pending review or awaiting a response—still takes up a slot, preventing new offers until a spot opens.

  • Note 2: Offer capacity limit doesn’t account for intern start dates. Example:

    • Scenario: You have confirmed three interns, and the platform marks you as "at full capacity." (Each supervisor can host a maximum of three interns at the same time.) 
    • Problem: Intern start dates vary—one intern works from March to April, while the other two start in May. The platform restricts you from taking additional interns, even though you only have one active intern until May.
    • What does this mean for you?  Your Placement Matching Specialist will make an offer on your behalf as currently there is no workaround on the platform. Contact support@virtualinternships.com to receive specific support if you don’t know who your Placement Matching Specialist is. 
• A company account can have multiple members, and any of these members can become a supervisor and host interns.

For instance, if your company has 2 supervisors and you have 2 projects that require an estimated 5 interns, you can proceed to make 5 offers and initiate the projects.

• Can you send more offers if some interns decline?
  Yes, if an intern declines your offer, you can shortlist and interview new candidates for the position.

• What if you need to bring on more interns than originally planned?
  If your hiring requirements change, log in to your dashboard to view and shortlist more interns. Contact your Placement Matching Manager if you need support.
