Screening profiles

An intern’s profile can tell you how they might fit your projects. Here’s how to review candidate profiles.

Key profile sections to review:

  • Goals and interests: Look for a concise, professional summary that highlights the intern’s goals and motivations.
    • Note: Interns are often open-minded and willing to take on projects not listed in their profile. Schedule an interview to discuss your projects in detail.
  • Projects and past experiences: Evaluate if the listed projects meet your requirements or if the skills are transferable and relevant to your projects.
  • Availability: Check their availability to ensure compatibility with your project’s schedule.

Pro Tip: Invite your colleagues to review the candidate’s profile by using the Share button.
