What happens next after an offer is created
Once you’ve sent an offer through the Virtual Internships platform, here’s what to expect:

The intern receives a notification: Interns are notified via email and on their dashboard when an offer is created. They can then review and accept or decline.
- If the intern accepts your offer: You’ll receive an email notification. The next step includes preparing for onboarding, which will be guided by your Internship Success Advisor.
- If the intern declines your offer: You’ll be notified immediately. At this stage, you can:
- Interview another shortlisted candidate for the role.
- Browse and shortlist new candidates.
- Reach out to your Placement Matching Manager for assistance in finding a replacement.

The offer status updates in your dashboard: You can track the offer status in your dashboard's "Manage Hiring" section.
Pro tip: To increase acceptance rates, ensure your offer is created in a timely manner and aligned with the intern’s expectations discussed during the interview.
